Greetings;
Since I've posted a number of posts with no comment so far I'll post one more and give it a rest and make this a test and retire to my nest and read the rest and save the best for later on once there is a sign of life and interest. In brief, it is my feeling that transformation of human consciousness includes how we see the entire universe. The popular cosmology of modern science has been stuck in an outdated and unrealistic box of limitations called the big bang. A wave of new and creative vision has been sweeping it's way through this field and it is key, I feel, in the massive change upon us.
The art below dates back to 1988 and earlier coming from dreams and visions of what could possibly be beyond the far edges of the known universe and then again beyond the beyond. It's not a new theory of everything, necessarily, but mypassion for knowing put to paint and canvas as a way of inspiring new visions in cosmology. The title is: "Krallosvierd; The K-Sphere Theory of The Universe" and its 13 paintings make up a 336 square foot triangle 24 feet tall completed between 1977 and 1988. Each painting has it's own title and general meaning or symbolism, but I leave it here for now for those who find it to just take a look to see what you see. I've been told over the years that it is a little like Tarot cards in that some people are drawn to a particular image for mysterious reasons and then can relate to the title and symbolism later. Mainly it is a device for bringing new visions of what the universe is and how it might work, and it is not limited to "space" as we know it but dreams of that which is beyond...very far beyond.
Thanks...and Hello.

In regard to your previous Blog, I view such large-scale societal shifts as being fundamentally about collective values shifting and the dynamic interplay between self (ego) and communal (altruism) interest. The Spiral Dynamic framework sets these elements out very well adding the evolutionary aspect of the development of societal values from initial societies to more complex ones.
Comment by Matthew Jesse Montez Watts on April 4, 2011 at 1:07pm Dear Tyler;
Thank you very much for your comment. That painting is titled "K-Sphere: Balance of Nature" and it symbolizes natural equilibrium. The central theme to the story in the symbols is that there is a solid steady state realm in which a particle collapses creating a black hole entity that grows until there is a balance between it's attractive force and the distance surrounding it. The planets represent the effects of this shake up of the steady state making matter possible, and time and space. The core at the center is so large that our entire known universe is a bubble on the surface. And, it was a dream so anything is possible and I did not edit the vision so it is rather strange even for me to explain. The thing I like the most about it is that it gives our cosmos a "mother", or source, as opposed to the big bang that states everything comes from a ball in nothing, which never sat well with me...too unnatural and against the laws of nature and science.
As far as "planet jumping" I don't know what you mean, but my dream was like being a disembodied mind with 360 degree vision unlimited by time or speed limits. It was as monumental a vision as the final piece is as art (3 stories tall). So maybe it relates to your finding balance between your inner and outer life, such as perhaps setting your dreams free. In dreams, why not jump planets? I did include a sort of guide or pilot in the dream for whatever reason...a man made of light (me?) who sort of assured me it was safe to do this and come back. This was back when I was 24 years old and more adventurous than I am now...hey!, maybe I need to look at that statement and get flying in my dreams again. I am of The Baby Boom Generation and my Dad was a WWII vet and winning the war was enough, you know? That's me and my Dad below. He was a little Jack London-ish in that he readily admitted he did not know so much and he told me to make up my own mind about religion and walking on water and all that. Because of him I was able to take a step outside the popular dogma and look around. Sure, maybe I've gone a little farther than he meant, but why have limits with some things like the great mystery of life and the universe. "I don't know" is my inspirational launch code.
Tally Ho! and thank you very much.
