IDEALISM AND REALISM

When we say that we need a new vision for the future, what we are really saying is that we actually need a vision for the future. This necessitates a unified global vision that allows different nations and cultures to co exist peacefully without the fear of impending doom or disaster of any kind. What we need in sustainability is the integration of a comprehensive and holistic vision that extends through all of the dimensions of global life and addresses the needs of humanity now and into…

NEGATIVE ENERGY CYCLES

Currently, we are contributing our energy into cycles of negative or at best neutral energy exchange. We over consume on an individual level and in doing so produce enormous amounts of waste in processes of production, transportation, and consumption. Every step in the chain produces waste and pollution. Economically, our system is streamlined to move wealth to the top tiers while depriving the lower levels where the actual…

BREAKING OUT OF CONVENIENCE

Somewhere along the way we gave over our self sufficiency in favor of over specialization and convenience. Contraray to popular belief, this IS NOT a good thing. We have come to the point of extreme absurdity (which I will go into detail on in a later blog) and now even to the point of addiction. To break our addiction to convenience we must start by making a conscious choice to evaluate how we choose to live and act on a simple…

CONVENIENCE CULTURE

We want it all and we want it now. Its all about me and I’m on this mad drive to feed my ego so I need everything to be convenient as possible so I don’t have to slow down and think about what I’m doing and how every action I perform spreads a little wave out into the world and effects either positivity or negativity.

Our world rode a wave of excitement…

A VISION OF LOVE

I Envision a future of love in the most comprehensive sense. This is a deeper love that extends inward and outward and permeates all dimensions of the world and the universe as a whole with a deep love and appreciation with gratitude for life. This is an understanding of the infinite and eternal potential inherent in all existence and all being.

As things…

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

Allow me to propose an aspect of solution to our current situation. Its called Personal Responsibility. This is a simple and straightforward direction and anyone can practice it. Everything is not everybody else's fault. In fact we should not pass blame at all. Out of love we should simply continually examine ourselves and our own actions and evaluate if they come from a place of love, right understanding and right Intent. If we have…

RECOVERY

The beauty of life in its unity and interconnectivity is astonishing. For countless years humanity has walked a dark path of destruction and suppression, but as darkness gives way to light we reach out for the possibilities of a new existence. Our times are part of a greater story that includes the totality of existence and what Ervin Laszlo has so wisely termed 'Ultimate Coherence.' The truth of this is astonishing because even as the…
