Do you believe we're now in a global emergency?: The currently dominant egocentric consciousness has many interrelated unsustainable manifestations, such as the continuing environmental deterioration, terrorism resulting from exploitation, the decline of civic engagement and sense of connectedness, and the loss of psychosocial and physio-emotional buffer systems. Stuart Hill and I have addressed these aspects of our global emergency in our book 'Learning for Sustainable Living', and we are currently developing an online learning course at lfsl.com.au to enable students and professionals involved in sustainability education, population health, community development, and organisational change to become more effective change agents.
