I can't listen to BBC, NPR, any of it anymore, it's too depressing--they're makig $$$$$$$$$  , lots, making people feel like crap. So 2 yrs ago got rid of the TV.  Thought that would work, just listen to public radio.  It would be GREAT if there were a GREEEN CHANNEL that only broadcasts good news about the environment, people, the world.  I don't want to hear only news about banks, money, economics, war, decapitations, mutilations, and if anyone in the media is listening--I'm not the only one…See More

Permalink May 3, 2012What is truth?  Why is the world so fd up?  I think the American Far Right is going through all the stages of the death—of their deeply rutted way of life.  All America is aware something’s not right--isn’t balanced—that we’re the most “fortunate” people in the world, and rather smugly, we deserve it, don’t we?? It’s conceited—“of course, I mean, we’re just betterl”, sort…See More

Profile Information

Do you believe we're now in a global emergency?
yes yes yes
What does climate change mean to you?
OUR HUMAN SUPERIORITY COMPLEX, AND GLOBAL AGREEMENT TO MAKE HUMAN "OVERPOPULATION" A POLITICALLY INCORRECT SUBJECT TO DISCUSS..WHICH DISGUSTS ME. THIS ONE IDIOTIC CHOICE BY LEADERS IN ALL AREAS OF SOCIETY IS WHAT SEPARATES THE HUMAN RACE FROM ALL OTHER LIFE, THAT ALSO HAS IT'S RIGHT TO EXIST THAT WE MINDLESSLY DAILY EXTERMINATE.
What does peace mean to you?
A belief that the majority of people are basically good, and if given intelligent , compassionate reasons, and opportunities to communicate serious issues, will voluntarily do the best, fairest things that benefits all.
What does community mean to you?
I find this a difficult subject, because too many people are not willing to meet, interact face to face. I've noticed most 'gatherings' cost money. If more people would have large gatherings without charging for it, more people would be more excited to gather together--this means someone must provide a 'place' for these gatherings to happen, without asking for a financial gain.
What does politics mean to you?
Male dominated patriarchial industry excluding women's power. All zygots in 'life' begin as female, i.e., all females are capable of becoming male, but not vice versa. Life doesn't begin male, but androgynous female. males who begin as girls. When feminine power, which arises, from the neocortex, right brain, frontal cortex--compassion and the relaxation response brings nonverbal creativity to mere apes.
What does money mean to you?
A dispicable worship of the material world, which men have for eons used as a form of insane power in order to pay other men and women to kill each other.
What makes you truly happy?
A garden, healthy birds, water and food to all wildlife, an earth where there are no military explosions, and toxic chemicals, or psychopathic male leaders, or the worship of a God made in the image of humans...and hydrogen which makes up most of the universe, as our primary source of energy.

Sometimes, I think that we are experiencing 'our turn' at the human cytosphere, and that when we die, we may morph into the tree cytosphere (realm), or the rock-o-sphere.   Yes, sitting up high in glacier valley looking down on the river flowing out of our iceflow valves.

Are we God?

Karla: Why is the ultimate question.  I have to use an analogy to try to compare things.  Ants.  African army ants devistate when they march across the grounds and eat everything in their path.  They feed and mate with the queen, and the cycle continues.  But they find they have limits when they run into a river or canyon cliff.  As they re-trace their steps, their numbers deminish through starvation, war, riots.  They reach an equilibrium after a while, but is their a better way for the ants?  Now, transpose this on humans.  Since our first realizations that our 'queens' needed food and shelter to perpetuate our species, we have marched across the entire planet, consumed a large amount of the planet's resources, and now we are seemingly confronted with the 'river' or 'canyon' barriers.  Like the ants, we continuosly retrace our steps to try and consume more on a different path, but the paths run around in circles, and the barriers are beginning to have an impact.  Death, wars, destruction, disease, hate, violence, greed, starvation, take-take-take.

We have to learn how to co-exist with all living life and stop marching to the beat of our primal forebearers.  We must conserve and think intelligently: Yes, I see the barriers and I choose to improve my garden.  Oh, I must share food with my neighbor whose latest crop went fowl.  No need to fight for that resource, I'll freely give it to you.  But in return, if I am in need, please return the favor.  Your sick, let me use my medical knowledge to make you better, free of charge.  Imagine if we could surpass money and live like this.  We have to change, or we will perish.
