What does climate change mean to you?

I am not sure the actual warming is caused by human activities to any important degree, but I do know that the massive pollution and unnecessary burning of fossil fuels seriously damages our biosphere in several ways and must stop. Carbon Dioxide, on the contrary, is a natural component of Earth´s biosphere and causes no damage.

What does peace mean to you?

Peace means not only absence of warfare but a spirit of mutual respect and tolerance between people resulting in constructive cooperation for the improvement of life for all of Humanity, and indeed for all life on the planet, based on a holistic, integrative consciousness of belonging and solidarity. With this definition of Peace, and rejection of the present materialistic and separatistic value system, war will be an impossibility.

What does community mean to you?

Community means a sense of belonging and a spirit of mutual help between all its members. Like an extended family with strong emotional links. But it´s important to ensure that the feeling of belonging does not separate and divide to create a feeling of animosity towards other communities, or towards those who are not members of one´s community.

What does politics mean to you?

Politics is the management of the affairs of a community, that cannot be handled by its individual members. This means basically affairs that need a concerted common effort between all or a large number of the members, resources of a size that is only available through accumulation from many individuals or other entities. Typical areas where politics have traditionally played a principal role are defense, communications, education, and social safety nets including health care. Trade is another area where the delegated powers of a community have traditionally played a controlling role, on the one hand in order to protect the citizens, and on the other hand to tax business to collect resources to cover management expenses.

What does money mean to you?

Money should be just a practical means of exchange between real useful products and services. Money as such has no intrinsic value. It´s value is none other than whatever useful or desired products or services it can be exchanged for. The recent transformation of money into an agent of speculation and gambling is clearly perverse and causing serious problems.

What makes you truly happy?

Two things make me truly happy:
1) Gathering new insights about the essence, or soul, of Life, the Cosmos and Humanity
2) Making other people happy by helping them, and teaching them what I have previously learnt myself.
