- Do you believe we're now in a global emergency?
- No question!
- What does climate change mean to you?
- It means our climate has indeed changed from the "normal", i.e., historic weather patterns of this planet. We have sufficiently polluted Mother Earth to the point that she is critically out of balance. The result is approaching catastrophic levels on, in and around our planet which, of course, includes the effect on our weather systems.
- What does peace mean to you?
- Peace = balance. Balance is something that Mother Earth does automatically through natural processes like more creation of certain healing minerals (amethyst,) and weather systems that equalize lows with highs. In human beings, this balancing is NOT automatic, but requires a change of consciousness to realize we are out of balance (not peaceful;) then decide that it is a significant enough problem worth our energy to address (painful, usually to an extreme;) and then choose to regularly devote our awareness and resources towards finding solutions that restore balance/peace.
- What does community mean to you?
- In the macrocosmic view, I see community as the whole, what we are ALL a part of = we are ONE. As such, I believe the only way out of the mess we have co-created is by our coming together into smaller, localized communities supporting one another to consciously look at the issues and find more effective ways to solve our problems - individually and collectively.
- What does politics mean to you?
- In the current paradigm, politics means the pursuit of power at any cost, without regard to the governed (i.e., We, the people.) But then, it is We, the people, that shut our eyes and allow the current paradigm. We are the problem, for we are the collective consciousness that has created it. We, together, at a critical mass, will be the solution - if and when we choose it.
- What does money mean to you?
- The primary Western means for the exchange of goods and services. Also, the way we in the US have been conditioned to believe is the means to success.
- What makes you truly happy?
- At the most basic level - LOVE & BALANCE makes me, as an individual, truly happy (at peace.) Next to that is being an active participant in a community of open-hearted and open-minded people, supporting one-another to find and sustain it!
