Daghda MacCuolahan commented on Carl Carpenter's group Meditators
"The meditation state that I encourage students to achieve represents a condition of inner attentiveness wherein you become aware of your personal consciousness. This practice, in time leads to the awareness that you are a unit of consciousness, one…"

Profile Information

Do you believe we're now in a global emergency?
Yes
What does climate change mean to you?
It is a complex issue. With the scientific community producing an increasing body of information pointing out the dangers from the buildup of greenhouse gases produced mainly by burning fossil fuels and forests and the 5.9% increase of carbon commissions recorded globally during 2010, it would seem that now is the time for international bodies act before it is too late.
What does peace mean to you?
Peace would be the expansion of a models of society built on community spirit, compassion, motivation/intent rather than action/result.
Governments with vested interests in the well being of people. production for use, rather than production for profit.
What does community mean to you?
Service to others.
What does politics mean to you?
The problem is that politics is full of people who work from the materialistic action/result model of living rather than the more holistic motivation/intent model.
Politics should be about the government of state concerns, management of public affairs, resolution of internal and international conflict, production and distribution of resources, protection of the population from invasion and protection of vulnerable members of society, stewardship of the people. What we are seeing now is nothing new, whole sale corruption, a 'could care less attitude towards the poorer members of society, greed beyond belief... All the same problems that Ancient Rome and Mesopotamia faced. Fear and ego abounds in politics and the application of a policy of radical transparency would not go amiss. The problem has always been one of an ego sensitivity to finding out whether one is right or wrong and identifying what one’s strengths and weaknesses are. Concepts of love and compassion are seen as a weakness rather than a bonus. 70% of Liberians have tasted human flesh, in the capital there are no toilets, when NATO pulls out of Liberia in 2012, tens of thousands will face whole sale slaughter. Politics as we know it simply does not work. We are not grown up enough and our leaders do not have the Quality of Consciousness to be able to be able to govern with compassion and humility.
What does money mean to you?
Money is useful to create systems that help those who are less privileged, the elderly, the vulnerable. I use money to provide pro bono services.
What makes you truly happy?
Introducing people to the concepts of expanding awareness of self, others and environment.
Introducing people to the multitude of health benefits that daily meditation brings.
Working with the elderly and vulnerable.
Watching people benefits from natural healing techniques.
