" The Perception Experiment"

The greatest power we possess is our power of perception.

What will we focus our attention on today?

Thank you Egypt for exercising the power that is yours and reminding citizens of the world in the process of their own. In the attached interview by Lilou Mace,  Barbara Marx Hubbard speaks to the significance of Egypts' accomplishments and the future for us all when we move from evolution by chance to evolution by choice.  Enjoy!

Dearest David,

Most honored with the privilege to have met you and thank you enormously also for the "autographed" copy of World Shift 2012.  We are siblings in "Shift" and I am particularly grateful to have found this amazing family in the middle of "no where", or so things seemed when I was most willing to lose sight of shore.  Hugs to all!!!

Your english is exceptional Karin (I wish my German was that good!) and I love the poem. What appears as nothing is in fact unencumbered everything. Starting there we flow with the miraculous, like a mother giving birth. As Kingsley Dennis so accurately observed in his Quantum Consciousness 4 Blog "I can safely assert that the progress made by mankind in any direction, from the subhuman level to the present, has been far less due to man’s own efforts than to the activity of the evolutionary forces at work within him." Thank you too for your interest in the Life Skills Report Card document. I just checked and it is functional but if it fails 4U again please email me mamamarlaine@att.net and I will be happy to mail it to you as an attachment. Hugs! Marlaine

Hey Marlaine, Thanks for your response! I just tried to look at your website.
It doesn't open. Will try it another time.

I think if we people are in touch with Self again (parents in particular (-;) then they will be able to be in contact with their children and others. In that way, they invite others to do (be) the same; attention, respect, love, openess to oneSelf (the innerworld), is to be able to do the same in the outerworld.

Isn't it all about repeating patterns, in and out, below and above? And doesn't it all start with oneself?

I read a beautiful quote when I was young, it said: Almost all comes from almost nothing (sorry for bad translation, my mother language is dutch). So to think big, you can start little. To change the world, start with doing, saying and thinking what you would like to see in the world. Paul, might that be an idea? Not to defeate it outside, in the big world, but to enlighten it in the innerworld and make it surrender to what is really important for you?

I am looking forward to reading the document you wrote, Marlaine!

Love, Karin

Thank U for joining Robin, Paul, Bridget and Karin and also for your contemplative comments. Guided though many individuals are via decades of academics to "work, compete, and accumulate" in order to experience joy, freedom, peace and appreciation for creatures great and small, arrival at the destination consistently leaves them seeking more - and in some cases even suicidal. It is notable to me that individuals who have "achieved much" in the traditional material sense (IE: Bill Gates, Ted Turner) find the most fulfillment by giving to others.

What might humanity look like in a hundred years if we promote a different script for human development? The mustard seed for the Life Skills Report Card Campaign is an actual document, which I created while raising my own now adult daughters. Downloadable for free at our non-monetized website http://www.lifeskillsreportcard.com, it has five primary subject areas: Personal Care, Organizational Skills, Respect for Self and Others, Communication & Social Skills. Personal Care is the first Subject because it provides the foundation upon which all else functions, and Spirit is one of the six sub-topics listed. Taking time to be "fully present, create space to experience the sacred, and live out of the box," as you describe Karin has most assuredly delivered me my greatest gifts, affirmations & epiphanies; this website - each of you and your endeavors - prime examples.
