Preparing For Worst Case Scenerio Situations That May Arise In Our Lifetime

Hi Tyler...just come across your thread here - missed it before. In regards to possible scenarios to our lifestyles I regularly read updates & news from Chris Martenson (http://www.chrismartenson.com/) - you probably are already aware of this site. I watched the 'Crash Course' when Chris put it out, and I would highly recommend this series of easy-to-understand 20+ lectures power-point slides on our economic, energy, lifestyle futures.

 

For me, our precarious future(s) rests very much upon energy (and in this I include food). I feel that 2011 will be a year when the food issue will begin to hit home (as it did in 2008 with food riots across the world - yet how many of us remember this now?). With increased erratic climatic variations, from floods & droughts in Russia, China, Australia, the US, and other food-producing 'bread basket' regions we are likely to see a hike in food prices in  coming years, affecting nearly all staple diets. A worst case scenario here would be mass starvations, coupled with civil riots, high food prices, and a further push to consolidate the GM seed market across food-producing regions. This would serve to control global food supplies, marginalize regions, and create future dependencies.

 

In terms of energy I would say that the reality of peak oil, when publically admitted, will lead not only to increased prices, potential rationing, but also disrupt many global infrastructures that depend heavily upon oil-based chemicals (road-bridge building; agriculture; transportation networks; domestic energy; retail consumerism, etc). This again could lead to further energy monopolies that would energy-blackmail lesser nations and re-arrange the global 'Great Game' into energy blocks, re-making the stage of global politics and global 'democracy' (in name only).

 

Watch out for potential 'wild cards' such as sun flares and solar EM bursts that could knock-out our major communications for some time, putting us globally into a 'dark night' until repairs are made. The Internet is then likely to be re-instated under heavy control for fear of other natural catastrophes or cyber-warfare. Thus, control of communications will be stepped-up in light of potential fragilities and insecurities.

 

Some of my thoughts here..... are they close to what you and your friends discussed...?

Hey Kingsley, thank you very much for your reply.  As usual your enlightening words have a very nice flow to them.  Hmmm... regrettably I must agree with all of your points, indeed a truth of a possible forth coming reality, in fact most of which are already beginning to occur.  UN Just released an article based on record high food shortages this year, reference see http://www.cbc.ca/world/story/2011/02/03/world-food-prices.html .

 

It is funny because people were always complaining about the price of gas... when really it is the price of water they should be complaining about =)  Rioting indeed would occur, giving government a great opportunity to beef up security and reduced the rights of citizens.

 

Communication, a vital role in the day to day life of most people on this planet.  I believe that a natural knock out of communication is possible but a man made one is very possible as well.  I mean look at it like this.  You have government, which is very organized, underworld, very ogranized as well.  Now the people in between are probably the least of organized of all and since we rely on technical communication so heavily, an end to global communication would affect us the most.  Putting the people in dis ray I think is the mission of some dark entities.  I think that these so called elite or entities devoted to maintaining the levers of control are planning for an attack on the populations in a promotion aimed at reducing mass population for the greater good.

 

Its actually quite common, I mean take a look at humanity as whole.  We often cull mass amounts of animals in the name of environmental protection.  Culling is the easy way of course, the quickest as well.  Now I think that we are facing the largest mass culling of its type and its not animals being culled in the name of environmental protection, but humans who are now going to be wiped away.  Communication knockout, will only be the beginning of this hefty solution to many of the growing crisis occurring in the world today.

 

Now to the the plan.  We have come of with two type of categories of Worlds Worst Scenario Situations.  Man made & Natural made disasters.  Most of which are man made but Natural disasters being the most unpredictable, therefore, dangerous to humanity.  The end goal of this project and plan is to help us devise an adaptable survival guide for the Worlds Worst Case Scenario Situation, which would be multiple disasters and possibly all of them occurring at the same time.  It is our theory that this would be the perfect recipe for a mass depopulation.  Only people who would expect this sort of thing would have a chance at survival, probably those elite or dark entities influencing humanity into this path would come out stronger.  The aftermath you could expect more control on humanity, specific habitual zones, control over communications, micro chipping and who knows what else they may have planned.

 

Anyways, its is our responsibility to help people understand that this is a possibility and their only form of protection is being able to expect and prepare for such situations.  Our biggest dillema is providing solutions for each and every possibility as many require unique professionals associated to such areas.  We are working on it and its a plan in progress.  I will update the main discussion with your ideas and some of those we have thought off.  I am going to hold off on solutions until I get more people involved!

By the way, once we begin work on the solutions side I will update the discussion to SOLUTIONS  =P  I think we are at a rate of extinction the way things are currently going... on this website =P JK!!!

Hello,

I've been thinking a lot about this subject recently and I have been collecting items for a crisis as fast ad I can (Survival Guide book, gear, first aid kit, boots, flashlight, etc), my goal is to become 100% Survival specialist, ready for anything that comes my way. I've seen some of these camps and when I can raise the money I am definitely going for a few days or weeks if possible. NOBODY I KNOW SEEMS TO BE TAKING THIS THREAT SERIOUSLY!! It's a mixture of ignorance, head in sand mentality, or the belief that nothing can go wrong (it's already very, very wrong in so many ways), for some the fear that if they think about a negative it will happen and then just plain old stupidity and hard headdress. 

One of the possible catastrophes is comets and meteors, another would be secondary problems from the BP oil spill such as that Mt Everest sized cavern blowing north America in halves. I also feel there is truly the possibility of an off world threat, just use your imaginations on that one!

I used to put out the call for discussions about creating communities of people banding together and learning to live the right way, the way we know we have to, and I never got any responses or input. I feel your frustration, sometimes I think people just don't see the message or something, hard to believe people are this unconcerned.

An extra problem that I just thought of is those of us who depend on certain medicines to keep us alive, DAILY! if there were severe problems and the country or local community shut down to a certain extent, we would be in serious trouble and fast.

That's all I have to say for now but I will definitely be checking here again, I just signed up.

Hey Nicholas thank you very much for your suggestions and input.  I think it is very wise of you in seeking to increase your survival awareness and capabilities.   Which country are you located in?  I know of a few good survival camps but they generally start from 3 month, 6 months & 1 year courses.  It seems that we have similar goals and I do agree with you about most people not being to worried or taking the possibilities seriously.  I believe that if you can expect things to happen you will be better prepared when a bad situation arises or more able to take the positive things out of a situation.  The most important tools in a survival situation or outdoors are your brain and heart.  Being able to work in a community and creating good relationships with everyone you know is an ideal trait as well is being optomistic. 

 

I have added your additions to the main list of possibilities, thank you again for your input.  Let me know if you think of anything else!  If you are located near Canada I will be having a lecture this summer and exercising some useful survival skills.

I believe survival is an instinct and that creation is a conscious effort. On this I believe that to focus on somethIng that hasnt happened it should be positive. Yes we have a lot of natural and man made trigger points coming to us. These are unfortunately necessary due to our disrespect of nature. Now I like to see us unifying to fix the past to access all of our individual potential to create.

Thank you for your comments John, you have a very deep and unique perspective.  I apologize if the worst case scenarios seem a little negative, once we start working on the solutions it will bring a positive balance to the thread.  The whole point is to give people more confidence if any of these situations were to arise.  To give people hope and the ability to survive and enjoy it at the same time.  I am currently in Japan and we have experienced quite a few of these scenarios in the last week, I believe the entire world will be experiencing some trouble in the near future. It is always good to prepare, physically and mentally.  Are there any additions you can think of to add to the above lists?  I hope to get started on the solutions soon.

I am just diving in here as we all no times is important. Energy spins in male and female in different directIons male with the earth clockwise and female opposite. This is the natural animal way. Humans have developed there consiousness to control this at first woman fell into line with the males spin and then it rebalanced the other way. This has caused great turbulence on the planet. The most conscious being taking an opposing force against the planets energy. With a huge energy burst coming onto the planet it needs all of it's alignment as strong as possible. We have a chance to come into alignment with our planet. If we don't we are seeing what will happen. It is time to embrace the unknown. Trust your instincts and if you can't trust them accept your mind has been corupted and seek help. There are many people with the skills to connect you with your true presence.

Interesting summary, Tyler.  I was presented with yet another major disaster scenario set to happen in the next three or four months, and at first I revisited the "survivor" plans I'd conceived for response to disaster scenarios that I've lived through since before Kahoutec and Y2k.  I'm of the generation that were taught in school to respond to anticipated nuclear attacks by crawling under your desk, putting your head between your legs, and kissing your ass goodbye.  So I spent a lot of time in the mountains, walked in a few protests, wrote letters to my congress folk, and generally tried to make my voice heard.  The whole Armageddon trip was horrible to contemplate.

At this point I live a block from the Pacific.  I take walks along the beach regularly and enjoy the gardens of Carlsbad, CA.  I've lived a life, offer what I believe to be divinely inspired service so I have a purpose to my life.  My wife and I work and play together as balanced, harmonious yin and yang.  We inspire each other to love, and we like each other.  If a huge roller coaster ride of change occurs for human consciousness on planet Earth I fear no evil.  What a finale!  This adolescence of human consciousness deserves a transformation.  I just find it hard to be very anxious about a huge "die off" to convince us all that we are One with each other and with Earth as living entity.  It's high time we moved into a maturing of our purpose as caretakers of this garden.

I was speaking from the voice of the planet I felt and I am hoping that the few wake ups we have had have brought us into line and we are not going to have anymore. I love to hear what you are saying Richard. Your submission to the will of the earth is what it is all about. This is what is needed. We work with animals here and it is a challenge that you face all the time. How to get submission but maintain respect. The earth has this problem with us. We need to maintain our position with in the animal kingdom. The earth needs protectors of the herd animals and controllers of the carnivore. It also needs us to be it's loyal servants as well.
