WorldShift 2012

With the sudden wave of interest, I am getting worried. Our trend driven behaviour in the past has done more at destroying movements that propelling them. Yes we are at a point where we can bring point to all the wasted energy of the past and the failed attempts can become lessons toward an understanding of equality.

Please I am getting desperate I have spent whole life working towards this point. I am doing my best to reach out to others that are promoting similar beliefs. Every time I am ignored I find myself a little bit more suspicious. I guess some might say why should anybody care if I am suspicious. For the sake of equality and harmony and the future of our species maybe.

We are doing potentially ground breaking work here. If we could gain some insight from the people of the past we could make some great leaps.

"It should be apparent to all that the process set in motion by the current series of global Plans seeks,

in the approaches it takes and the methods it employs, to build capacity in every human group,

with no regard for class or religious background, with no concern for ethnicity or race,

irrespective of gender or social status, to arise and contribute to the advancement of civilization.

We pray that, as it steadily unfolds, its potential to disable every instrument devised by

humanity over the long period of its childhood for one group to oppress another may be

realized."    --taken from a letter by the Universal House of Justice

hesitation into courage born of trust in God and transform a yearning for excitement into a

This reply worries me, everybody seems to be quoting the words of another. Are we not able to think for our selves. My understanding of the change is that we embrace our own individual force and make a conscious effort to share it unconditionally under the guidance of greater forces than our own for the benefit of forces less than our own.

I'm not sure what you mean? I was thinking for myself when I chose these quotes which both address exactly what you have said here: "that we embrace our own individual force and make a conscious effort to share it unconditionally under the guidance of greater forces than our own for the benefit of forces less than our own."

More important to me is whether what I posted rings true. You asked how this is going to happen without equality. These two quotes give constructive ideas as how to have equality and make it happen. The Universal House of Justice has been working for fifty some years to bring this about. And the Baha'is have been working toward this since the beginning of the Faith in 1844.

I was addressing the idea of equality. I need clarification on the rest of your post. I'm not sure what you mean by gaining insight from people of the past. Will we being quoting people from the past?

Sincerely,

Billy

I think by people of the past I mean people who have lived more of their life in the past than they have yet to live in the future. I think it has an import emphasis on your point of view when you have more of your life behind you than in front of you. I often see a lack of balance in this when I listen to people talk. Young people seem to be very keen to explain what they have learnt and how it has made them who they are and older people seem to be projecting opinions into the future and casting judgement upon the present as if it is somebody else's influence that has created it. This seems a bit out to me. I am of the belief that our species has gone into a state of chaos in preparation of finding a new order.

So I encourage all to create their own impressions of what is going on in their own lives and to become comfortable with sharing their perspective with others. this I think is a stepping stone towards equality. So hiding behind the words of others is just that in my opinion. I see too many learned people with little opinions of their own. As for the league of justice or what ever they are called, I find it hard to align my thought with any organisation that has the word justice.  The reality is that a lot of this rhetoric has been used before by many people to put them selves into a position of power.

Our structure is designed to put all power back into the hands of the people and the planet they represent. Our Company set up is the same as an democratic country's. The only difference is that all people of earth are able to represent them selves. This is the beginning, why are we competing with each other if we are truly working towards equality?

First, I'm not competing. I posted two quotes that I believed aligned with your post. But you saw fit to belittle me as a person without the ability to think for my self. You belittle older people which I am. How can there be equality or unity when someone trusts no one and belittles others. And outright dismissal of quotes not for their content but because the quotes come from a group with the word "justice" in it.

How can you live with others in unity and peace and build a community with no respect? I guess you are right and everybody else is wrong.

At least in my experience, older people are the opposite of what you have said. Older people I know talk about what they have learned and how it made them who they are.

BTW, should I not trust your group which has the word "Company", sounds awfully materialistic to me.

Sincerely,

Billy

I am sorry Billy that you take my comments to heart so much. This is not a conversation between two people. I am communing with all that choose to read this. I am aware that many read forums with out contributing, so a lot of what I say is too them. I am not belittling you, only you can allow that to happen. Life is a competition with no one winner only losers. I speak from a place of acceptance. An acceptance that we are approaching a potential for change and I know from my own experience that the biggest most acceptable catalyse for change is our own behaviour. If you choose to dismiss this statement by telling your self and others on the internet that I(this is me john) am telling everybody to change into something and that I am a self proclaimed master telling everybody I have the answers and that I am some kind of jedi master or what ever rubbish you are projecting. Or you could choose to see me as being a person not so different to your self with similar challenges and goals and that I am addressing a common situation with an acceptance that we all have our similar but different challenges to face on an individual level and I am offering up some self analysis along with social analysis  as away of encouraging us all to combine our efforts to achieve a combined level of personal change.

As for a company, as much as I wish everything was all nice and rosie. We live in a materialistic world and appropriate structures need to be adopted. A company structure gives protection to it's shareholders and enables me to create something that leaves my ownership and can take on a life of it's own. It is the perfect way. I am sorry you see it as a way of giving you reason not too trust my integrity. Maybe it is your issues of fear that are holding you back. I am not aiming to belittle you just as one person with a love of another confronts them in a way to challenge their motivation to grow.

John, I find that your comments often put down or challenge the opinions of others.  If you do not mean this than maybe you can try expressing your thoughts in a more neutral or supportive manner.  I hope you do not take any offense to this.
Hey Tyler, I am the first to admit that I challenge others opinions as other challenge mine. As for putting down I do not do that, well maybe I do. I believe this is a challenging time and for us not to challenge each other a bit would not be natural. We are still basically animals by nature. Maybe in time we are learning to leave this behind. I think we are not there yet so we still have a bit of animal rivalry to egg us along.
