Cyclical vs. linear time

After we have ascertained that linear time is working against us on a number of levels, how do we convince our bosses, service providers, and the myriad people we rely on to make things work (in the most rudimentary sense) that we need to make a shift?

Also, as someone who has very mixed feelings about social networks (Does Worldshift2012 qualify as one?) and is partuclarly skeptical about the cybersphere (to which Worldshift2012 certainly belongs) where can we most efficaciously apply ourselves here in this network?
